A question that we get often is what is the difference between Oxford Style and Standard Style. Choosing your bed linen style is a personal choice and will very depending on the decor and style of your bedroom.
So here are a short explanation of the 2 different styles.
Standard Style also referred to as Housewife or Envelope style provides straight lines without frills or detail. This is very well suited for a more minimalistic, contemporary look.
Oxford Style has a flap right around the pillowcases and duvet covers. The size of the flap can vary from 3 to 10 cm. Our Oxford Style has a 7-8 cm flap. The flap adds extra length to your duvet cover and pillowcases and gives your bed a more elegant and classic look. The Oxford Style works well with a wide range of styles from tradisional to Chabby Chic.
Whatever your style, both are timeless and if you choose quality linens it will last you many years.
Until next time, think pure!
